While Christmas parties are great!. They are also stressful for people with all of their other expectations and obligations!. Some of the companies that I work for now hold their employee appreciation parties in January!. You get lower prices !. If you pay for it in December the company gets the write off for 08'!. With the economy tanking you may want to spend a little less on each person and include immediate family!. That would change the whole tone of things!. So those are some things to start thinking about!. Do a little informal research and find out what people liked about past events and what didn't work!. A small in office thing during the work week I!.E!. not a Friday when every one wants or needs to get home with food, a bigger celebration in January !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

for about 50 guests you could find a nice restaurant to have it at in a private room or maybe rent it out for the night if it's a smaller location!. any dinner cruises in your area on a river or lake someplace!? we have a neat steak house where you can grill your own steaks and fish on this huge grill in the middle of the restaurant!. maybe a bus after wards to a comedy club for some laughs!.
you're really just going to have to drive around one day and look at places and see what may work best for your group-start in the phone book or online to get ideas of where to go!. you can also ask around to co-workers of places they think would be nice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How many people are you expecting!?

Can you have a buffet and dancing at a country club!?

Do you have any sports teams where you could rent their party box during a game!?

How's your weather in December!? Is it reliable enough to do something outside!?

Give us some more details and maybe tell us what the company has done before!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
