I think you should make a funfetti cake...so good and cute! Its white cake with sprinkles in the batter so they make colors. Then you can have whatever icing you want. I would choose vanilla icing and then dye it with food coloring to either pink or blue, or you could do both. I think that cupcakes would be really good too, this way, you dont have to cut anything or worry about the cake breaking. All store bought cake mixes are good. Stay away from flavors that everyone won't enjoy..i.e lemon, strawberry...cream cheese icing. You can never go wrong with chocolate or vanilla. Happy Sweet 16!

shame you want to make a cake if you love your dog or puppy that much you could go to asda or sainsbury and get a picture cake with him/her on it,not sure what your friends would think of it though but its got to be something your happy with as its going to be your b'day good luck with making your choice and sorry couldn't be much more help.

I recently make an oreo cookie cake. I crushed the cookies into bits and added them to the boxed white cake mix. Then I used cholocate fudge frosting and more crushed cookies on top.

My sister owns a cake business and she has a website. Check it out and maybe you'll find some good ideas for your cake.

Chocolate is all time favourate...........

duncan hines is the best, my fav is the french vanilla! duncan hines is actually proven to be the best tasting, and stays moist the longest.

How about a marble cake- both vanilla and chocolate? It is also fun to make. Top with either chocolate or vanilla icings. Or a mixture of the two frostings.
