How to give aparty a theme ....................?

thre is my sister's haldi and mehndi party plz suggest any theme which can make it an interesting event

Answers:
U can try on making all rest of family members big or small,or atleast all the female to be dressed and treat as one of the brides same age friends are.

they're are so many themes to think of as of right now the cinco de mayo theme woul be perfect. When I had my bridal shower we used the boston tea party theme w/ mini tea cup and tea. Tea biscuits and finger sandwiches. We had on the victorian gowns and gloves as the ladies did in that period. It turned to be a smash. Whatever theme you choose try and have the outside compliment the food being served and it will seem more fun for the people there as well as the people that are giving the event.

It depends on what type of party you want it to be. If you are doing an adult party, or a fairy party, or something just pick what they like the most and go for it.

When determining a theme you should try to focus on the age and interest of everyone involved. My sister turned 15 last month, we just made up a polka-dot theme. We used red, black and white polka dots and it was a very affordable way to decorate. You really don't have to come up with a "knock out" theme as long as you keep everyone at the party entertained. Which for girls, is easy! A few ideas for things to do: Makeovers, Face Painting, Fear Factor, Karaoke, Limbo, Charades, Bingo. Be creative and have fun!

Depends on their ages. If they're adults, consider a luau, martini party, wine tasting, karaoke party, fondue party, etc. If they're children, check out this page for a ton of party themes:

Try fusion.........east meets west. Ask your guests to wear a combo of Indian dress with western outfits e.g., a shimmering spaghetti top with Indian ghaghra or Indian formal tops with long skirts/trousers...something like that.
This will make the event creative but yet very Indian. It is a haldi and mehndi party so keep bangles as a must wear to add all the melodious sound to the party :)
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!
