Question:

What do we call a meal that we take in between lunch and dinner?

Answers:
High Tea sounds better

snacks............

Cheating on the diet.

umm an afternoon snack ??

I believe Jerry Seinfeld (or was it his girlfriend?) suggested we call it Linner.

lupper.

I'd like to call it "Linner" or "Dunch", but most people just call it a "snack" and most moms probably call it, "ruining your appetite".

Snack or afternoon tea depends on where you live but it all tastes good.~~

That really depends on which region of the country you are in. In the southern US dinner is the mid day meal and supper is the evening meal. Luncheon is something that ladies put together for their garden clubs and usually consists of cucumber sandwiches and finger foods.

i would say "linner"

BRUNCH a meal eaten in the late morning; a combination of breakfast and lunch
SNACK a small amount of food that is eaten between meals

is it elevenses? (sorry if its spelt wrong)

it is not ameal it is snacks

an "aperitif"or appetizer .... before dinner you go out for a drink with your colleagues and have some finger food and a drink. In Spain they are called "tapas", in Venice (Italy) "cichetti" for example.

ere in Europe we have a french name for it and it is goutez

i call it pizza

Evening Naashta.

Id say 'tea-time'!

Afternoon tea. Small sandwiches with a variety of watercress, chicken, pate, tuna, roast beef or cheese. Petit fours for dessert and a lovely freshly brewed cup of Earl Grey with lemon. Yummmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe your funny! it's Lunner! or well anyone could call it
Dinch! ...or snacks.....but really! your hilarious!

a snack. depends what you're eating . . is it something small like a sandwich or like half a pizza. .

If you are calling it a meal then it should be considered supper...dinner is later on in the evening.... hence, to dine

snacks

a snack

LOL I call it a late lunch...

high tea is better option

Snack attack

Afternoon tea.

linner or lupper lol

Some guy by the name of Will wrote about how his friend and him have decided to call the meal in between lunch and dinner "LUNDIN".
LUN- because it is after lunch
DIN- because it is before dinner.
