Cold appetizer dish, bacon/turkey bacon main ingredient?!

Question:

Cold appetizer dish, bacon/turkey bacon main ingredient?

I suck at cooking...I can cook bacon at least. I need the dish to be cold to take to a party. Any ideas?

Answers:
Okay this one is easy. It's an appetizer. You take tortilla shells, smear them with cream cheese, lay turkey meat (or bacon, or water chestnuts, or ham, or sausa, whatever make a bunch of different types), then maybe some cheddar or american cheese. Roll them up like a burrito and then slice it in little slices so they look like a pinwheel.

You should use a tooth pick to hold it in place when you roll it up and then refriderate for a 30 minutes to an hour before slicing so they slice better. It's easy and you can make a bunch of different ones and people love them.

there is a website that i like called IVILLAGE.com that has lots of GREAT dish ideas check it out and plus most of them are healthy

Bacon, turkey or otherwise, and cold do not go well together.

If you lack in cooking skills, why not get a few different cheeses some assorted crackers and make a cheese platter. You can add some pickles and perhaps some pepperoni or dried sausage.

Use flour tortillas, spread with mayo or mustard, lay on a couple of pieces of deli sliced turkey, a piece or two of bacon followed by lettuce and tomato, very thinly sliced. Roll tightly and slice across, you will have turkey club pinwheels. Easy and besides the bacon, no other cooking involved. Good luck!

For this recipe you'll need:

2 pkgs cream cheese, softened
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup blue cheese or gorgonzola
10 slices bacon, chopped and cooked
1 tsp hot sauce
2 Tsp chopped green onion (green parts only)
Finely chopped candied or glazed walnuts.

Mix cream cheese with cheddar, blue cheese, bacon, hot sauce and green onion. Roll into a ball and roll in chopped candied walnuts. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers.

Cut your bacon into smaller pieces and wrap around pieces of pineapple, a water chestnut, or a piece of chicken liver. Stick a toothpick through the whole thing, dip in soy sauce and broil under direct heat until bacon is crispy. Watch carefully. These can be eaten or cold and are always a hit!

Another easy make ahead appetizer is ground beef sandwiches on party rye. Cook a pound of lean ground beef until crumbly....drain. Add 1/2 pound of Velveeta cheese, a t. Worcestershire sauce, and 1 T. Italian Spice mix. When cheese had melted stir all thoroughly. Spread on slices of party rye and broil under direct heat. Watch carefully. You can serve these hot or cold. The males especially like these. You can also make these ahead of time and freeze until needed.

Another easy one of party rye is mix mayo with a little garlic salt and minced onions. Spread on bread and serve cold.
Enjoy!

Then you should take a pasta salad with tomatoes, shrimp, crab meat, tuna, miracle whip, ranch dressing, pastas shells topped with real bacon or bacon bits. Keep it refrigerated. Name of the product is called Suddenly Salads.
