What are you serving for snacks/dinner for the big fight tomorrow?!

Question:

What are you serving for snacks/dinner for the big fight tomorrow?

We're having some friends over for the De La Hoya/Mayweather fight. It's at 10:30 pm but I imagine they'll be coming over around 8pm or so. What would you serve to eat and drink?

Answers:
Punch
Black eyed peas
Eggs,sunny side up..not scrambled.
Jawbreakers
Ribs

guacamole w/ nachos

chips and dips

it is going to be a short fight.
3 rounds

Well, were gonna whip up some hamburgers and hotdogs.
Packed with juicy meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Eaten with some homemade french fries and ketchup w/ some Strawberry Cheesecake (A family favorite).
For drinks, were gonna have some sodas and juices for the kids. :]

Several different brands of chips, dip, salsa and beer. Watching a fight isn't good if you can't get messy.

Salsa, mini tacos, guacamole....assuming you're rooting for DeLaHoya--who will win.......

anything good. but mostly Mexican food. like carne asada

Enchiladas

If your guests have already eaten dinner, start with something sweet, like brownies. Around 9 or 10, folks are going to get hungry again, so I'd suggest "pigs in blankets" (hotdogs wrapped in biscuit dough and baked -- cut the hotdogs in half shortwise first so they're smaller and easier to handle) with mustard or ketchup or barbecue sauce available or "bumps on a log." Mix peanut butter with a little margarine to make it lighter, then spread it in the dent of a celery stalk. Sprinkle raisins -- or even chocolate chips -- on top. Both are filling snacks.

Yes,both of these are sometimes considered 'kid food,' but they are also really good. Just watch them disappear! Have some tortilla chips and salsa available, too, and you'll have a great party on a good budget.

well it is cinco de mayo..........and de la hoya....so how about mexican things
5 layer dip and chips , taquito's, nacho's ( make m a little fancy perhaps by getting one of those pre roasted chickens from the store and use the chicken in the nacho's) with the leftover chicken you could make some tortilla soup...
or use it in chicken cheese quesedilla's and buy a bunch of tamales

Big Fight? HUH?

Make some punch or have soda...get a party platter.Or make Hot dogs or Hamburgers and serve with chips and dip.And have a cake maybe? Or some kind of dessert.
