How far in advance can you make rice krispie treats for a party?!

Question:

How far in advance can you make rice krispie treats for a party?

Also, what is the best way to store them? I want to make them for a graduation party but I won't have time the day of or the day before the party.

Answers:
they are so easy to make and absolutely the best on the day made, is there anyway to squeeze an extra 15minutes out of the morning the day of the party?

You can make them several days in advance. Store them in the fridge until the morning of the party.

PS - I used Fruity Pebbles instead of Rice Krispies and they were a HUGE hit.

You can freeze them, so easily a week or two (cover them well and tightly in aluminum foil). Or a few days in the fridge is totally safe. I'd say either way, keep them in the baking sheet and slice just before your party.

At my house, you would HAVE to squeeze out the fifteen or so minutes to make them the day of the party. Otherwise, they would only be sweet memories the day of the party.

Make them ahead and freeze them. Take them out to defrost the day of the party.
