Answers:
If you are going to be drinking and have crazy outgoing friends a waterslide may not be too lame! We went to a kids birthday party and they had a huge fun jump type of slide, and after most of the kids went home and us adults were good and buzzed we had a blast on it! If the people wouldnt have come to get it we would have broken out the hose, stripped down and stayed on that thing all night!

Well you can check this link for suggestions:

The best way to have a party is just to invite all of your friends and enjoy each other's company. It shouldn't matter so much what you do as long as you're together.

I agree with you, though, that a water slide is lame. It also sounds expensive, hard to set up, and potentially damanging to the grass. A nice alternative might be a slip 'n' slide, although those things also have a tendency to tear up grass.

It sounds like your friend might be intersted in having a water-themed party. Maybe you could make it a luau--you could throw around a few beach balls, drink margaritas and/or pina coladas, and do the limbo.

Since it's a going away party, it might be nice to decorate a big box like a suitcase and fill it up with little gifts for your friend who is leaving (hopefully all of your guests could bring a little something or at least chip in financially).

Hope you have fun!

have a part where clothing is optional, wear as little clothes or non at all , be free, skinny dip, chat and eat in the buff !
