Question:

Im having a raffle and im looking for idea or stores that might donate.?

this raffle is for Make A Wish

Answers:
You need to print up a flyer explaining the raffle and hit the street, go into stores and ask to speak with the person in charge and have your speech all ready, show them the flyer which should say what the raffle is for, who is putting the raffle on, etc... and ask them if they are interested in donating items or money and let them know that the sponsors of this raffle will be getting credit

maybe wholefoods will make some sort of gift basket
flower shop
a hairsalon perhaps would donate a free haircut or shampoo?
pet store

Gift Cards, collectibles, unique display items, consulting and design services, Cleaning services, luxury items. Think of your audience - what is their budget and station. The higher the donation the more frivolous the item (like a cruise, yacht, etc) You should also consider party planners, wedding planners and other event type items (banquet at a hotel for example) the more unique and interesting the item the more bids it will attract. Good Luck!

Approach each store in your city and make sure they know the cause when and where. Also be sure to make a sign for each donation stating which company donated. You can go to independent stores and businesses.get on the phone and make the appointments for a meeting to discuss the raffle.I hope you have a sale of 10,000.00 for that great foundation....Try your local clubs, sororities and alumni...They donate.Ask for gift cards that they purchase they are great..Remind them if it is a tax deduction....Hope this helps...
