Housewarming party goody bag ideas please....?!

Question:

Housewarming party goody bag ideas please....?

We recently bought our first and new home, we are planning for a housewarming party in next month. We are thinking to give goody bags to all guests, i am thinking to put some personalized home decorating gifts with my lastname in goody bags.

Where can i get bunch(50-100) of personalized home decorating gifts? Any ideas or suggestions about goody bag gift ideas please...

Answers:
You have it backwards... YOU get the gifts and they eat your food and drink your drinks... so relax and have fun... don't change the norm or you could end up embarrassing other friends who didn't give gifts at their house warming party...

Good Luck

How about some small window herb gardens. The gift that keeps giving. You can personalize with a printed ribbon or a label on a garden stake.

Also, a brunch or dinner kit is great. Example - Fancy pasta, sauce, in a colander with small wine or whole grain pancake mix, small syrup, a few pieces of fruit, and a couple of bottles of juice.

Keep in mind though....at a housewarming party, YOU get gifts, so don't overdo.

The site below has some cute party favors! that come in at least 50. Let me know how that works out.

Congrats on the new home!

purple--first congrats
2nd HGTV website may have some great ideas as well as you're local craft store. giving out goodie bags to guests is a real sweet thing after all you've been going thru...here are some ideas
--little address books, add your name (use labels to save your hand)
--magnetic to-do lists
--frames 2"x2"
--votive candles in coffee scents
--wild flower seeds & those tiny terra cotta pots
--key rings w/ your favorite color or initials
good luck

Congrats,
I suggest NOT giving out goodie bags. Housewarmings are for you. The food you serve is really gift enough. You may want to play a few games and have prizes but as for me I don't like trinkets. You really want to think about the people coming and do they like "goodies". It is such a noble idea but, just sit back relax and enjoy the love that will be poured on you by your friends and family. I am wondering why you want to give something? It's OK to receive, as a matter of fact, that's the way I like it! :-) So my suggestion if you must give something, flower seeds and a cute little pot (dollar store) or cookie cutter and mix.

People are supposed to bring you gifts. You are supposed to supply the food and drinks. Also you can send Thank You cards to all your guests a week after the party.

house warming parties are for you!!! congrats on you house!!!! ( jealous all over the place.. still in apartment)
i think you shouldnt do goody bags... i think maybe door prizes are a good idea.. if you have games planned then definatley prizes but not goody bags for everyone

try ebay, people offer large lots of all kinds of things, there.
