Try these

of course caramel apples, sugar cookies shaped like pumpkins and pumkin pies, salsa with tortillas, punch but also add these.

popcorn balls
5 quarts popped popcorn
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup margarine
2 teaspoons cold water
2 5/8 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup marshmallows
DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the corn syrup, margarine, cold water, confectioners' sugar and marshmallows. Heat and stir until the mixture comes to a boil. Carefully combine the hot mixture with the popcorn, coating each kernel.
Grease hands with vegetable shortening and quickly shape the coated popcorn into balls

deviled eggs
4 eggs
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 pinch paprika, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil and boil eggs for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove eggs from boiling water and place in a medium saucepan of cold water until cool.
Remove the shells and cut the eggs lengthwise to remove the yolks. Place yolks in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Mix in the mustard, mayonnaise, garlic salt and onion powder with the egg yolks. Scoop the mixture into the hollowed out areas of the egg whites. Garnish with paprika. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving

russian mushroom soup
5 tablespoons butter, divided
2 leeks, chopped
2 large carrots, sliced
6 cups chicken broth
2 teaspoons dried dill weed
2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup half-and-half
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 sprig fresh dill weed, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Mix in leeks and carrots, and cook 5 minutes. Pour in broth. Season with dill, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Mix in potatoes, cover, and cook 20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender but firm. Remove and discard the bay leaf.
Melt the remaining butter in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the mushrooms 5 minutes, until lightly browned. Stir into the soup.
In a small bowl, mix the half-and-half and flour until smooth. Stir into the soup to thicken. Garnish each bowl of soup with fresh dill to serve.

Yes, anything will do. Are you serving lunch/dinner? Or just appetizers?

make red punch and put fake spiders in it

pie sandwich apple

Pizza For dinner

er, carrots and say they are fingers
dips to go in ketchup "dragon's blood"
guacamole "rat bile"
chicken legs "bat wings"
it depends how squeamish your guests are!

One of my favorites: Use a large metal bowl or a thick glass bowl and fill it with your choice of non-carbonated beverage. Kool-aid, punch, juice, margharita mix...ect. Then buy some dry ice at a grocery store, about a pound or two usually is enough for an entire evening. Then fill your bowl with your beverage and, following the instructions for "handling" the dry ice, chip off a small piece about 1-2'' in diameter and drop it in the middle of the bowl. It will carbonate the drink slightly and create that erie foggy bubbling drink effect you see in movies and on tv and keep your beverage cold as well!!!

You can make simple foods with few ingredients. You don't have to follow recipes either.

Make half pita sandwiches (your choice). Get a box of Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups and cut tounges out of them. Stick a tounge in each sandwich opening.

Bake a chocolate sheet cake. Ice it and add Chess Men Cookies on the top to make it look like a graveyard. Use M&M's and licorish for legs to make spiders crawling all over it. Get a box of Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups and cut out tounges and stick in each half opening.

Buy a cheap box of plastic gloves. Makes Jello molds or Rice Krispy Treat or popcorn Hands. Use the leftover trimmings from the Froot Roll-Ups and make red fingernails for each finger.

Get some Nutter Butter Cookies. Melt White Chocolate and dip them. Use chocolate chips for the eyes. They will look like ghost.

Make a punch with sherbert and gingerale. It will foam like fog and put gummy worms in it to float aroung.

Get some cans of chinese noodles and mix them with melted chocolate and peanut butter. Spoon them out on wax paper to dry and put candy eyes on them. They will look like spiders.

You can make a cheese mold. Mold it with your hands to look like a brain.

Make a pot of Beef Stew. Nothing strange in it. It will just look good sitting in the middle of all the treats.

Decorate your table in black and orange. Get a spooky tape or cd to play non-0stop while you are entertaining.
Make goody bags for the guests to take home. Attach a thank you note on each one.
