21st Birthday?!

Question:

21st Birthday?

A friend and I are going out, and since i've never been to a bar I was wondering what everyone might recommend to try! Im not much of a fruity drink person, so anything but that will do!

Answers:
Long island, whiskey sour, gin & tonic are my favorites. A shot of Patron and a couple long islands and you'll be good.

Coronas are always good.

vodka, i have an obsession!

idk

Long Island Ice Tea

RUM and COKE...mm mm good!!!
dont forget the designated driver!!!
party on!

Buttery Nipple shot, life saver, sex on the beach, etc.

LONG ISLAND!!! 2 OF THOSE AND IM OUT!

When I turned 21 I went to a street (called the Strip) that had bars up and down both sides. I went in to each bar and they all have specials for your 21st birthday. I got a free drink at each bar and had a blast. The only thing is that at most places they get to pick the drink for you. I tried sooo many different drinks that night. Maybe this will work for you - have them pick for you. :) Have fun and be safe!

If youre gonna go with the rum and coke, make sure its Bacardi light rum, really good and smooth taste, or a jack daniels and coke.

Vodka and Tonic or Vodka and Red Bull. You won't be able to taste the alcohol at all. Very good taste.

I always have the most fun at a restaurant bar... like an Appleby's or Olive Garden. I think it's a nice atmosphere for NOT making the same mistakes as in a dark bar with lots of really drunk people.

If you like shots, Lemon Drops are nice. Absolut Citron shot served with a Lemon wedge or slice and sugar (instead of salt).
Vodka tonic with lime is good, as long as the tonic is good.

Pina Coladas might just hit the spot. They also serve wines, so you might enjoy a White Zinfandel too. I wouldn't mix the two drinks. LOL And I hope you have a designated driver so you and your friend will see many more birthdays.
Happy 21st!

At my friend's 21st birthday party, someone bought him an irish car bomb. If you want to try the complete opposite of a cute little fruity drink, that's probably it. It was ugly, smelled bad, and erupts into some kind of small chemical reaction or explosion seconds before it's consumed.

I prefer lemon Wyborowa, well-chilled and unpolluted by silliness like lemon wedges, tonic, and ice.

If you haven't had much alochol before, stick with fruity blended drinks - margaritas, pina coladas, mudslides (tastes like a blended coffee drink). Or try Malibu Rum (coconut flavored) with pineapple juice. It's super sweet, but doesn't taste to alcohol-ish. Don't get talked into shots unless you want to get sick!!

Have fun!!
