What are some good college graduation ideas?!

Question:

What are some good college graduation ideas?

I am not looking to spend too much, we already have a DJ, but I am wondering about food. It's going to be from 1pm-4pm so what kind of food should I get without spending too much??

Answers:
a Graduation cake is always nice
punch
chips and dip
I'm not sure on how much those giant sub sandwiches cost but that would be cool.

Happy Graduation =3

depends on what age
for my 8th grade graduation last week
we had a bbq with family and friends
we had hamburgers
brats and hotdogs
then had cake nothing big i mean its just a halfway mark

but for like highschool maybe a bigger type thing i havent made it that far yet so im sooo sorry

We just had our third (one to go!)
For the first two we had two roasters, one with loose meats and one with a big ham. Of course you need buns and condiments for those. We had 3 types of salads, potato, cole slaw and pasta. We did chips and dip and chips and salsa, a fruit tray and a veggie and dip tray, the cake and nuts and mints.
For my son's he wanted BBQ pork sandwiches. So the day before I put 5 pork butt roast into the roaster, covered with seasonings, after about 2 hours, I put Coke over them and brown sugar, after two more hours they were done so we took them out, let them cook and then shredded them. You can shred with two forks or cut into chunks and put into your food processors. Once the meat is shredded, put back into the roaster and mix with your favorite BBQ sauce, reheat and it's good to go. Serve with buns and pickles.
We always have two big coolers, one with a variety of pop and one with a couple of different kinds of beers.

Loosemeats are easy, cook up the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup, worcesteir sauce, horseradish, brown sugar and just keep tasting until it's the way you like them. We like ours tangy.
