Okay!. My 16th birthday was a while ago!.!.!. but!.!.!.

**I would rent/buy/borrow a karaoke machine!. Depending on the crowd, that's hilarious and fun!.

**Other ideas are group games (like rock band or guitar hero), but again, you'd need to rent/buy/or borrow a system for that!. Though, there are an awful lot of people who own these nowadays!. Karaoke would be cheaper- but if you could find people to borrow this stuff from, both would be fun!. You could have a contest if you wanted and give out prizes, but it would be fun either way!

**If you need more outdoors stuff, go with a volleyball net- and a ball!.!.!.

**For food- you should get pizza and soda, chips!. Start looking in the newspaper now for store flyers (grocery stores, walmart, etc) - and then comb the flyers for sales!. For example, this week at my walmart 12 pk cans are on sale 3/ $8!. You should try to spend no more than 2!.50-3!.00 per 12 pk cans!. 2 liter bottles are even cheaper ( a lot of time they'll be on sale for a dollar 10/$10)!. Start looking for sales now- because soda (and even chips) will stay good for awhile!. You can spend 10 bucks here and 10 bucks there, and then it'll hurt less financially later!. The same thing goes for pizza- look for coupons/sales, like dominoes 5-5-5 deal or if you can get online delivery, a lot of places do online codes (you can find good ones at www!.retailmenot!.com)!. You could also do burgers (buy a box and some buns) but remember, then you have to sit there and cook burgers, ick, hot and time consuming!.

** Get all the decorations from a dollar store!. Go to one or two and you can get tons of matching plates, forks, streamers, table cloths, candy (even bowls for chips) all for just a couple of dollars! You could also get the favors there, depending on what you want for favors (remember this is a 16th b-day, not a wedding, lol, so candy is probably still fine!)!.

** extra tip:
Make sure when you send the invitations (which you can also get at the dollar store), you make it clear that it's a surprise!. also, make sure you can get her to the party, lol!. Tell everyone to RSVP to you by a certain, firm date!. Have a firm time set as well!. This way, you'll get
an accurate head count, so you know how much to buy!.

You're very generous - she's a lucky girl!.

I'm picturing lots of pink!. Pink roses and jasmine!. White candles on
the tables, with petals and jasmine blooms around it!.

Simple meal of sliced prime rib roast, mashed potatoes and steamed
veggies!. Add bagged salad and rolls w/butter!.

Pink and white balloons, streamers hanging down - very fantasy like!.
Maybe a balloon arch!.

For activities, try trivia from the year she was born!. Or trivia (not
embarrassing stuff) about her!. Dancing, maybe a door prize or tape a special note card under each chair that indicates winning something!.
Maybe a set of soaps or candles!. Or a chocolate/sparkling fruit juice
basket!.

I'm only guessing, maybe she's a sports nut, in which case - switch
the whole theme over to a sports theme!.

Have fun - Hope this lucky girl has a wonderful birthday - Thanks to you!
