I am having christmas this year and all my family is coming we don't have a dinner we have snacks and sweets anyone got any easy recipes for me to make stuff

Sugar Pie's Artichoke Tapenade

1 (14 oz) can quartered artichoke hearts, drained
1 (8 oz) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, rough-chopped
2 Tbsp. EVOO
1 Tbsp. canola oil, or mild salad oil
1/3 cup. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
1/2 tsp. kosher salt, to taste
few grinds black pepper, to taste

Sort through artichoke quarters, removing any tough outer leaves. Place all ingredients in food processor, and pluse until a coarse paste is formed. Adjust salt and pepper as desired. Yield: 1? cups.

Serving Suggestion: Place thin slices of baguette or sourdough bread on baking sheet, and drizzle with EVOO. Toast in 375oF oven 4-5 minutes. Remove, and spread with artichoke tapenade. Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan cheese, and return to oven for another 5 minutes. Top w/ FGBP and serve. Good hot or at room temp.

Also good tossed w/ hot pasta, fresh diced roma tomatoes, and grilled chicken breast.

Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp

8 large shrimp, shelled and deveined, tail on
4 slices bacon, cut in halves

Spicy Orange Sauce:
3 Tbsp. orange marmalade
1 hot chile pepper, seeded and chopped
2 green onions, chopped (both white & green parts)
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
2 Tbsp. EVOO
Slat & Pepper to taste

1.Preheat the broiler.
2.Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl, whisking well.
3. Wrap each shrimp in a slice of bacon and secure w/ toothpick.
4.Place shrimp on broiler pan, and broil 2-3 minutes on each side, turning once, until bacon is crisp and shrimp is opaque.
5.Arrange shrimp on a platter and serve immediately with sauce.

Beef & Blue Cheese Bites

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
6 slices pumpernickel or dark rye bread
6 slices Swiss cheese
6 slices deli roast beef
6 thin slices red onion
6 dill pickle spears

In a small bowl, beat butter and blue cheese until smooth; mix in bacon. Spread about 1/4 cup mixture on each slice of bread and top with a slice of Swiss cheese. Place on baking sheet and broil, 4 inches from heat source, until cheese is melted, about 1 minute. Top each with roast beef, onion and pickle and serve open faced.

Corn & Black Bean Dip

2 cans black beans, drained and rinse
1 can white (shoepeg) corn, drained
Half cucumber, cut in tiny pieces
2 tomatoes, cubed
1 small purple onion, diced
1/3 cup fresh chopped cilantro
1 ? cups Ken’s Steakhouse Italian Dressing

Mix ingredients in large bowl. Pour in Italian dressing and mix well. Marinate in refrigerator overnight or at least for a few hours. Serve with Tostitos scoops.

Dan'l Webster Inn Fresh Chive and Bacon Dip

Notes: The Dan'l Webster Inn is located on Cape Cod.

3/4 lb. cooked bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1-1/4 lbs. cream cheese
1/4 C. minced red onions
8oz. sour cream
1/8 C. fresh chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. A-1 sauce
1 tsp. fresh raw chopped garlic
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 C. fresh chives, chopped

In a mixing bowl mix all ingredients until smooth. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Korean Sesame Chicken Wings

1? lbs. chicken wings, cut in half and tips removed
2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
3/4 tsp salt, optional
2 Tbsp. sugar
1? tsp sesame seeds, toasted
1 clove garlic, minced
1 scallion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
? cup peanut oil, for frying

Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Mix remaining ingredients, except oil in a bowl. Add chicken, turn to coat, cover and marinate wings in refrigerator 3 hours or overnight. Remove wings, pat dry and discard marinade. Deep fry about 4 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Sausage Squares

1 roll pork sausage
1 small onion, chopped
1 green bellpepper, chopped
cayenne pepper to taste
oregano to taste
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
1 pkg. crescent rolls

Fry sausage with onion and pepper; drain. Stir in cayenne pepper and oregano to taste. Add cream cheese. Roll out crescent rolls to 1/4 inch thich. Spread meat mixture down the center of dough. Fold sides in to make a rectangle loaf; seal seams. Bake at 350oF until brown and slice into one-inch squares.

We have lasagna for Christmas eve.

The tradition at my house on Christmas eve: Spinach dip with fresh veggie tray, roasted spiced pecans, stuffed dates with walnuts, finger sandwiches, and of course all kinds of sweets, i.e. pralines, divinity, miniature pecan pies, Christmas cookies and a bowl of spiced eggnog.

as many cookies as you can make! make it kind of like a tea party with hot chocolate, eggnog, and other Christmas drinks. finger sandwiches, veggies &dip, ecy;. we always show like a classic christmas movie like its a wonderful life, a christmas story. or a white christmas. enjoy

My family always does fondue. We heat oil, pour it in the fondue pot, and use it to cook shrimp and cubed beef. It can be really fun.

Baked Macaroni and cheese it taste great and is simple,Just boil Elbow macaroni and pun in a large pan add a little milk and butter than cover with shredded cheese and bake at 350 till cheese is melted and turns a light brown.

TEXAS CHEESE DIP

Velveeta cheese
Can of chopped green chilies
Breakfast sausage - cooked and crumbled.

Put your dip together in a crock pot - and it is ready to eat when cheese is melted. Really hearty dip - men go crazy for this dip.


BACON CHEESE SPREAD

1 Pkg cheddar cheese - shredded
1 Pkg of real bacon crumbles
1 Pkg toasted slivered almonds
4 chopped green onions (scallions) - use green tops too
Mayo just to moisten dip.
Mix together and chill. SOOOO good on crackers!

STRAWBERRY DIP

Washed whole strawberries
1 carton sour cream
Brown sugar

Dip the tip of the strawberry in the sour cream and then into the brown sugar - and eat. It sounds weird - but it is wonderful.

On Christmas Day, we do a traditional meal but Christmas Eve is fun & casual. We do deli meats & cheese with assorted breads, baked beans, potato salad, chips & dip, spicy meatballs, etc. For dessert, we do tons of cookies, brownies & cupcakes. It's great!!

Well My mom does xmas eve at her house evry yr and since i love to cook i usually do a lot of the work.. We usually have meatballs, hot roast beef, shrimp, get a chicken wing platter from a local wing place ( sauces on side to dip) chicken finger platter potatoe salad and a lunch meat tray of course we have homemade cookies, candy chips pretzels, cheese peporoni crackers crab dip family loves it... and its not tooo much work
