Question:

Where is a fun, cheap place to have a birthday party for a kid?

There will be a varity of ages of girls and boys, but the birthday girl will only be 1.

Answers:
i used to like going to Chuck-E-Cheese's!

your basement

Chuck E. Cheese for sure!

mcdonalds with a playground

Your backyard! The princess of the party is only 1, which means she'll tire out faster then any of the other kids, so it would be easier for her to be at home so when she's tired she can take a nap and the other kids can keep playing. You could decorate, make a cake and some cake cookies. It would be fun. Thats what I did with my daughter:)

neverland ranch... i hear they got rides and everything.... jesus juice provided

Chuckie Cheese. Kid's will have a blast!

your local park disctric or YMCA may have some inexpensive parties...we also have a local hotel...the America Inn.. that rents out the pool during the day for parties for a flat rate instead of paying per child..they also provide a space for the actual party and non swimmers....

maybe a park theres no price in having one there and u can do a bbq have people bring potato salad macaroni salad hot dogs hot dog buns have potato chips prezels make corn on the cob bbq chicken burgers and ice cream cake

or an inside event at a pizza palor so every one can have pizza and keep every one satisfied or one at a skating ring where everyone can go roller blading and you can enjoy ur self and order pizza for everyone and u can make little gifts for coming with fun things that are good for parties

Depending on the weather, a public or National Park. They have picnic areas w benches & tables - some have cookout stoves. Pack up the cooler (w either homemade goodies or food for a BBQ), bring the cake, and some music. Tie balloons on a string around the tree. Happy Birthday in advance.

Just get some family together and meet up at a favorite place, and celebrate. P.S. : Bring plenty of napkins for the kids.

for a one year old i think the backyard will be fine. she's not going to really understand exactly what's going on anyway.

another fun place for kids who are a little older ... putt-putt golf.

you can take them to a little park or to a little arcade like chuck e cheese that is a place that most kids love. you can also go to the skating rink or better yet let them choose

Your house would be a good idea for a 1 year old.

Have it at your house and have a clown.

have it at your place and order a "moon walker" or blow up slide.

How about a family member or a friend's big back yard. Have everyone bring a side dish, bring their own beverages, and then you cook hotdogs. Supply a some basic beverages; brew some iced tea, water, ice, coffee..also have buns, condiments, plates, napkins, silverware, cups and of course a birthday cake.

If no one has a place to use, try a local park. I think if you just stake it out early enough in the day, you are set. They have bbq's to use, picnic tables...the kids could play on the swings, hillsides, etc.

Take blankets for sleepy people, chairs, some hula hoops and balls...Have a great day!
