Chili Cream Cheese Dip:

1 8 oz package cream cheese: $1!.50
1 can chunky chili: $1!.09
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese: $3!.50
1 bag corn chips: $3!.49

Total comes to around: $9!.09

Layer softened cream cheese in pie plate!. Top with chili and shredded cheese!. Microwave for 2 minutes, or until cheese has melted and the mixture is heated thru!. Serve with corn chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Deviled eggs or stuffed mushrooms


Basic Deviled Eggs Recipe

12 large eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons mustard
Salt and pepper
Paprika

Place eggs in a saucepan with water to cover plus 1 inch!. On
medium-high heat, bring the eggs to a low boil!. After 15 minutes
from the time they start to boil, remove the pan from the stove and run
cold water directly on the eggs for a few minutes!. Peel under cold
running water!.

Halve the eggs lengthwise!. Remove the yolks, place them in a ziplock
bag!. Add mayonnaise and mustard, salt and pepper to taste and mix together!.

Cut a corner off the bag and squeeze mixture into the egg-white halves!. Garnish each with a sprinkle of paprika

Makes 24 appetizers

Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:
1 dozen fresh large mushrooms
1/2 cup melted butter, divided
2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash black pepper
dash ground cayenne pepper
Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Directions for stuffed mushrooms
Clean mushrooms; remove stems, leaving caps whole!. Chop stems!. Sauté mushroom caps in 3 tablespoons of butter; set aside!. Sauté chopped stems, green pepper, and chopped onion in remaining butter until onion is tender; stir in bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper!. Stir to mix well!. Stuff each mushroom cap with bread crumb mixture; sprinkle each stuffed mushroom with a little Parmesan cheese!. Place stuffed mushrooms in a greased baking dish!. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes!. Mediterranean Cucumber Cups

Ingredients
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
1 vine ripe tomatoes, seeded and, finely chopped
1/4 cup black olives, pitted and chopped
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1/4 cup fresh feta, crumbled
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
Salt and ground black pepper
Juice of 1 lemon plus 1/2 tablespoon zest
2 tablespoons EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 English cucumbers, seedless

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the onion, pepper, tomatoes, olives, oregano, feta, parsley, lemon juice and zest, and EVOO!. Season with salt and pepper, and reserve!.
Peel the cucumbers partially, so it has 4 stripes of skin going down the entire length of the cucumber!. Trim the ends of the cucumbers and cut each cucumber into slices 3/4 of an inch thick -- you should have about 20 pieces!. Scoop out the center of each slice with a melon baler, leaving a shell of flesh!.
Scoop about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the Mediterranean salad into the cucumber cups and enjoy your refreshing bite-size snack!

A 7 layer dip for tortilla chips!. I always make that and it always is gobbled up!. I layer guacamole, sour cream, diced tomatoes, diced onion, drained salsa, diced yellow peppers and top with more sour cream and chopped scallions!. Put in a clear bowl so the layers can be seen!. It's really cool looking!. Bring a bag of tortilla chips and you are all set!.

You can layer however you want but you should avoid putting 2 of the same color together and try to spread out the "wet" ingredients in the layers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Serve this with tortilla chips !. Your choice of jalape?os or green chili will determine how spicy this will be!. Serve it warm!.

2 c!. (8 oz!.) Monterey Jack OR cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz!. cream cheese, softened
1 (10 oz!.) pkg!. frozen chopped spinach, thawed & squeezed dry
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
3/4 c!. chopped onions
1/3 c!. half & half
1 tbsp!. finely chopped jalape?o peppers or 1 small can green chili's

Sautee onions in small skillet until soft, add tomato and peppers!. Sautee for 2 minnutes!. Add cream cheese and half and half, stirring until cheese is melted, add spinach and remaining cheese, stirring just until mixed lightly!.

Pour into a buttered dish!. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ten dollars is not going to get you too far, so something cheap that'll go far is chips and salsa, or taco spread!.

Recipe:
Ground beef mixed with taco seasoning
Diced tomatos
Ritz crackers
Place the meat and tomatos on the ritz crackers, and top with shredded cheese if desired!.

Mash up some artichokes (you can get them in a jar for about $2, be sure to drain them!), add a little cream cheese, and some parmesan cheese!. Slice garden tomatoes (or from a farmer's market), slice up fresh mozzerella, and wash basil leaves!.

Spinach Dip in Sourdough Bowl !.!.!.!. Make the spinach dip on the side of the Knorr vegetable soup mix, but put it into a hollowed-out sourdough round!. Dill weed dip

1 pint sour cream
2 to 3 Tablespoons dill weed
Couple of shakes of garlic salt
