- okay few things wondering here.. duck as in what this dinner party is serving or is this a costume party where everyone is in duck theam.... adults or kids. If it's for adults and it's a dinner party of sorts. Deffinetly, a nice dish such as duck when prepared properly- and done several different ways and everyone contributes other foods that compliment the main duck-related dishes then sure for the fall- it's like saying lets have Ham in the summer anytime Duck is good. Great for the season , especially if your getting it fresh for the butcher/market!.... But as for kids hey- if it' makes kids happy being all ducky- c'est la vie eh!! :) Bon-Chance! (goodluck :)
