Need help with dinner plans for HER mom!?!
I will be cooking dinner for my girlfriends family in a week in a half!. This will be the first time I have met her entire family, especially her mother!.
We have been together for a couple months and she is as nervous about this as I am!. I am a decent cook and an excellent baker!. But I need help with a menu!
I will be cooking for myself and my GF, of course, her mother, older brother, older sister, younger sister (possibly both younger sisters) and 2 children ages 4 and 6!.
There are no food allergies that she can alert me to, and nothing that I must "leave off" the menu!.
I planned a salad, and some nice meat dish, a la spaghetti, or lasagna, etc!.
I need help with a shopping list (money IS limited) a good main dish, sides and what goes well with it for a drink!? I will be supplying all the food and will also be cooking it at her mothers house!.

I don't know about a shopping list, but I do know that lasagna is a really good idea! A good drink would be water!.!.!. you can NEVER go wrong with water =)!. Cooking it at her house =P that sounds scary!. Maybe you're girlfriend can help!? Ask her what sounds good for the things you don't know about, and take her shopping with you!.
