That's a really cool theme! (I kind of want to steal it now for my 18th!.!.!.!.) Make it as GreatGatsby-ish as you can!. Gaudy lights, red punch - if you could hire a saxophone player, or any kind of brass band instrument, that would be AMAZING! If you can't, which is probably more likely, then you could definitely get some 20's music as a background for the entire party - that would set the mood! Hope this helps, and good luck with your sweet sixteen!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Obviously play Charleston music:) !.!.!.!. There's a website for The Candy Store, where they sell nostalgic candy, categorized by the decade it was popular!. You might be able to find 1920's candies there !.!.!.!.!. Get a metal washtub (or small bathtub) to put bottles of Gingerale in (like "bathtub gin") !.!.!.!. Decorate with Art Deco decor (pink, silver, black and mirrors) !.!.!.!.!. I'm not sure what were popular foods then, but I think you can actually search 1920s food on Yahoo, and there are sites with recipes and menus for different eras!. Sounds fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

have black and white posters of all sorts of things that happened during the 1920's!. movies would probably be the easiest thing to find!.
also, have everyone dress in fancy dresses!. and you could buy like a red rug so that it'd be like an after party of some big movie premiere!. also, make sure to play a lot of music from the 1920's!.

have fun at your partay (:Www@FoodAQ@Com
