Question:

Birthday party ideas for a girl who is turning 13?

Ok, I'm 12 years old and I'm turning 13 next month (July) and I have no idea what to do! I don't know if it's going to be a boy/girl party yet.And I want it to be fun and exciting.Plus probaly around 10-20 people are coming. And please don't say at an ice skating rink or anything like that I wanna stay at home.

Answers:
well at 13 anything they do at an adult party (minus alcohol) would be appropriate. how about a cookout in the yard. a few fun games. and then a sleepover for the girls.

bowling, movies, your house, or basically any place that holds birthday parties

in my family every time someone turned 13 we would give them thirteen present just an idea

What about a themed house party? (If your parents are ok with it) Or, if it's just girls, you could have a 'make-over slumber party?' Or a movie-night with all your friends....

lots of food, a movie ,i recommend 300 the movie

well that sound nice u can maybe invite both boy and girl and u can buy like your favorite cake and all and put nice decorations in your house that says maybe like ummmmm your turing a teenager or something like that

Ehmagawd! You soo have to do a murder mystery party. My freind had one of these and it was the funnest party i ever went to! She had everyone dress up in formal dresses and suits and made it like a ball sort of thing! Also, everyone was assigned a character who they had to be throughout the party! It was so much fun! Good luck and happy b-day!

That depends on what sort of things you like. you could always have a luau or tropical themed party since it's the summer. You could also do a themed party based on your favorite reality show, which sounds really corny, but there are some great ideas on the internet. however the most pressing question is how much time and money you and your family are willing to spend and once you know that, plan from there. Have a great birthday!

BOY/GIRL: ok i remember my 13th bday party! it was fun! if u have a pool do a boy/ girl pool party with music and food and stuff. but if u dont have a pool do it in ur basement or in ur room (if u have a big one) make it like a dance. Decorate do spin the bottle and fun boy/ girl games. no matter wat u do a party is always fun with boys i must say!!!

GIRLS ONLY: either go into boston on newberry st and go shopping wit 3 or 4 of ur fav girls or if u want to stay at home a sleepover is always fun!!!!!!!!! pull an all nighter HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

umm ur house party outside inside you could have a bonfire watch movies just hang outside and talk have tons of food and open presents there but u should do something before this like a before event like bounce party my friends had one for their 13 party and it was totally fun idk its up to u just have fun hope this helps! oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

pool party? if your parents will allow, you could get a d.j.

well, you SHOULD have a girl and boy party! like your turning 13! your old enough to handle boys!LoL like play spin da bottle!, have music on, let ppl dance and have fun! make sure to hve a big cake! cake is yummy! and have a theme so it would be moe fun! like a hawii theme! that would be awesome! i hope this helps! good luck wit the party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!

have a themed birthday party. like an 80's party, pirates, or make everyone dress up in really fancy outfits and have a dance in your house. another idea is to have a murder mystery party where everyone dresses up to suit their roles and they have to try and figure out the mystery. most book stores sell good books to help plan murder mystery partys.

have a party but also go out to on your birthday but if you have a boy-friend let it be just you and him I'm 15 years old and on my 14Th birthday party it was OK girl i don't wont your birthday party you to be like me pooh mama

DANCING AND WATCH A MOVIE

we had a party for my kid when she turned 13 we did hair nails and make up also gave each girl a small flash light so when we turned up the music nd turned down the lights they made their own amazing light show it really was lots of fun !

have a house party!decorate really retro style have some really loud music playing have flashing lights and get like little shot glasses and fill them up with coke or something ,haha.
thats would be cool.

let the theme b fasion parade

My daughter is turning 13 on July 29 and I'm thinking of throwing her a house party with her friends and family. This way she has a more "grown" up party. I'm letting her pick out decorations and letting her invite who she wants to come.

Whatever you do, don't do anything childish. That was my mistake for my 10 yo boy's party! And no goodie bags, give away prizes for the best dance contest or something like that.
