Is October too cold for a beach bonfire party? If so what else could I do?!

Question: Is October too cold for a beach bonfire party!? If so what else could I do!?
I'm turning fourteen in October and I've become pretty set on a beach bonfire party, but I'm worried it'll be to freezing to do anything except stay by the fire!. Any suggestions on ways to stay warm!? Or if I should just go with another party idea!? (I live in Southern California)

I was also thinking about a Halloween themed party!. I haven't really put that much thought into it though!. Again, suggestions!?

Or should I just go with a completely different idea!? Once again, suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would think that October would be a great time for a bonfire!. Don't look at it as a beach party!. I will probably be too cold for swim suits and splashing in the waves but jeans and comfy warm sweatshirts, a big fire, hot chocolate in a big thermos and marshmallows for toasting should keep everybody warm!. You could always roast hot dogs over the fire as well!. A good bonfire can put out a lot of heat!. Good luck and have a great birthday!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unless it's the first week in October, it will be too cold for a beach party!. Even if it's warm during the day, the nights will be freezing near the water!. also, there are very few beaches in Southern California that allow bonfires, so you'd better check that out first!. !.!.!. Halloween seems to be the logical choice for an October birthday partyWww@FoodAQ@Com

No if you have a bonfire it should be plenty warm! Tell your firends to bring dates so they can get cozy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For a beach bonfire, you should not need more than a sweartshirt in October!.
