I need help finding CHEAP centerpieces for my wedding.?!

Question:

I need help finding CHEAP centerpieces for my wedding.?

I have Clear ivy bowls that were givin to me that I DON'T have to use. My theme is Daisys but its $10 to fill each. I'm on a Budget and we are having 400 people. My colors are Sage and Purple. I can't use candles at the hall I've rented.

Answers:
Get purple beta fish to put inside the bowls you have, they're about $3 a piece and a bag of rocks from local craft store (usually $1 per bag) - centerpieces for $4 a piece, keep one to remember the day & give the rest as gifts.
------------------------------...
Fill the bowls you have w/ something simple like Hershey kisses or other candies & tie a ribbon around the outside matching your colors.
------------------------------...
Buy simple frames w/ a large white matting, & set on each table w/ silver & black sharpies - guests can leave you & your new husband all their best wishes & you can display them in your house afterwards
------------------------------...
Good luck - try not to worry too much about the decorations & just enjoy yourself!!!

I suggest making them yourself with your bridesmaids and shopping at an arts & crafts store. It's cheaper and it's a great way to bond with your girlfriends.

Contact www.eaglesnestomniservices.org... find a way around most event decor and they'll give you a beautiful result.

How about you fill the bowls with candies? You can look at M&Ms candies, they come in a lot of colors & you can even have some special message imprinted on them for not too much money.

why don't you and your bridesmaid make them yourself.only 400 people i am sure 30 will be enough.besides people will be to busy looking at the wedding coupld rather than the cernterpieces

you can get packs of fake flowers and leaves that float - i'm sure you can find daisies
pur water in the bowl and place a few fake flowers on top
and you can wrap some fake vines around the mouth and put a fabric butterfly on top.
if you don't want to bother with the vines and butterflies, you can get those decorative rocks or glass pebbles that come in little packs and put them at the bottom of the bowl.
you can find any of these things at michael's or treasure island

another thing you can do is buy photo frames wholesale and put a picture of you and your spouse to be in each one and get those fake vines and flowers and put them all around it. they would make cute centerpieces.

good luck and congratulations on your wedding =)

Use the bowls, they sound nice. Put sage and purple marbles...or the flat ones of glass, just a handful in the bottom. Fill them with water and float 1-2 daisies in it without the stems, just the flower.

Use daisy colored balloons blown up small in the bowls or forget the bowls and use the balloons filled with helium and tied with curly ribbon. Then tie the ribbon to a stem of artificial daisies and let the balloons float above the tables. No matter how you use them , balloons are cheap and can be made unique.
