How would you spend your 40 th b-day party!!!?!

Question:

How would you spend your 40 th b-day party!!!?

Answers:
go to a nice restaurant with all your friends,
hire a hall and get a dj and have a great big party,
have a dirty weekend away with the other half, or go away with the girls/guys.
do something you have never done before, like a bungee jump (egged on by friends)
all else fails, book a stripper! (they say life begins at 40 so have fun!)

I turned 40 on October the first, this year, and I worked two jobs, got a pair of flannel pjs from my best friend, and spent the afternoon trying to sleep because one of my jobs is overnight. Whoopee!

asleep - with any luck

tell you in 13 months time

A family dinner at a restaurant of my choice (which will have shrimp, lots and lots of shrimp!). Just my husband and kids there. Everyone is growing so fast that it is special when we are all together. Then home for some trivia games which they HATE to play me in but since it is my birthday they will do as I say!

Only 7 months to go. Can't decide between Las Vegas, Disneyland Paris or Sandals Antigua.

My husband didn't really get to do a lot for his 40th. I have a few more years to plan. I want it to make up for that plus celebrate mine. Probably a limo, eat at the most expensive place we've never tried yet, just the two of us. Then maybe inviting family over for a cocktail hour and take pictures. Or maybe get a room with a jacuzzi for the night! I have enough time to plan!

I just don't want stupid balloons and black napkins and embarrassing stuff.

Anywhere. Just so I'm with family and close friends.

shop

crying lol, having a meal with friends and family then going on to a pub or club Or sky diving

In my case, how did I?

With friends at a cozy 4 star restaurant on the beach.

A day at a day-spa being pampered

Don't have a party.
Go to a beautiful, peaceful place totally alone and have a day of quiet reflection, evaluate your life and plan for the future.
Don't give in to party hype. It's crap.

go away for a nice weekend with your partner or friends
