Cake for sweet sixteen?!

Question: Cake for sweet sixteen!?
My 2 best friends and I are having a joint sweet sixteen and we want to have a really nicely decorated cake!. I've heard that its a good idea to get a smaller really nice cake, and then have a sheet cake to be served to most of the guests!. But then should the sheet cake have the same design on it as the original cake!? We're going to have about 100 people there, so having one big cake will cost way too much!. But, do you think the guests will be kind of "disappointed" you could say, that they wont get a piece from the original cake!? All opinions and ideas are appreciated!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The sheet cake doesn't nessessarily have to be the same design as of the decorated cake, it actually doesn't have to be designed at all!. The sheet cake is just there to cut and have people eat it; while the decorated cake is there for looks and for you to keep for whatever!. I think the people will understand, lol!. But you could just take the sheetcake in the back room and cut it or have it cut before you even serve the cake and just hand them out!. Hope I helped, good luck with your cake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

um its YOUR bdays so you do what you would like!. guests have to understand that you cant accomodate all 100 of them w/the most amazing cake ever!. so i dont see anything wrong w/getting a small really awesome cake for you and ur friends (that you eat when others are NOT around; that would not be very good hostess-like) and a decent, large cake for the actual party!.
have fun and happy bday!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i dont think the guests will be disappointed as long as they are getting some cake!. I suggest you talk to the bakery as they do this sort of stuff all the time and know the right thing to do for parties as this!. I hope you guys have a fun party, what a great idea to share your special birthday!.!.!.!.I was just watching My Sweet 16!.!.!.!.looks like a great time!Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no problem of serving a sheet cake for your guest!. If you are trying to find a design for your cake which will impress your guest then see the new promotion from Red Ribbon!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
