Party ideas for a 9yr old's birthday party?!

Question:

Party ideas for a 9yr old's birthday party?

Theme ideas,entertainment ideas ie...magician-

Answers:
Best party ever but very very messy. Flour bombs and water fight. Use the cheapest flour you can buy. Pop into bags, give them a canister of spray cream each and let them loose with buckets of water.

Be warned. Only do it outside. Very very messy, but great fun.

* Magician , hide sweets and the kids find them , party games , *

Get Him a BirthDay Stripper.

My idea is a Medival Party. It works for all age groups and genders. The invitations can tell the kids to dress up in Medivel stuff. The girls princesses or somthing and the boys Knights. I think its a cute idea. And you can just hang out plastic swords and that should keep them busy for like 29 hours.

We just had a successful luau for our 9 yr old daughter.

Pump It Up.....or rent the bouncies made for water & have a water party w/ that & slip n' slides....

I have a soon to be 4 year old little girl... The best thing to do is... ASK THEM.

Sure she has changed her mind several times, but the closer we get the more set she is on what she wants.

She knows she wants a pinyata (sp). She knows she wants big dogs and little dogs. She even showed my wife the cake she wants.

If a soon to be 4 year old can do that... I would think your 9 year old can too.

Umm heya......Blujeenz....
My idea of a party would be an outdoor garden party (if possible) coz its summer ryt now and the kids will love getting under the sun.

For a theme you can use Books, you can get the kids to dress up as their fave book characters and then have them mimic the parts, so that can take up the space for one game too...........

For entertainment, you can have trampolines and water sprinklers (if the mommies dont mind the kids getting wet)! If you are her older sis or if the birthday gal has an older sis, then sis and her frenz can volunteer to face-paint the kiddies....coz kiddies juzzzz love it!!!!!

As for the layout and decorations at the venue, instead of putting up just streamers and the regular stuff, what i would suggest is that you take up nine thermocol boards, and on each thermocol board have the birthday-girl write a small message wherein she dedicates each candle on her cake to her near n dear onezzz......and along with each message, you can put up an enlarged pic of the birthday-girl taken at diffrent times and if possible taken with the person to whom the candle is dedicated....

Hope my suggestions help!!!!...

yo bbzzzzz...PEACE!!!!

Movie character or superhero. That would be a fun one. Or you could have a costume contest where you gave the winners candy or something else. You could have a scavenger hunt in the yard.

A very fun age. Boy or girl? Let's see, you could splash out on personalized chocolate candy bars with the birthday child's name, birthdate, etc., on them. I know you can get them with all different themes, depending on what they are into. There is info. for that and ideas for other types of personalized favors at http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com/choc...

If you want to incorporate an activity and party favor and theme together, you could get chocolate molds to go along with the theme or just one of the kid's special "likes" (pets, sports, whatever) and let the kids make their own chocolate candy. The molds are pretty cheap - like $2. You can just use regular chocolate or go all out and get a variety of colored chocolate melts so they can really get into their designs. If you decide to do that, you may want to pick up some little paint brushes from the dollar store so they can paint in the details with the colored melts before filling them up the rest of the way with regular chocolate.

This is a lot of fun and will take up some of your time for entertainment. Also, you could have someone judge the best design with a little prize for the winner. All in all, a pretty cheap way to kill several birds with one stone - ha ha. There are detailed instructions on how to do that at http://www.chocolate-candy-molds.com/how...

Whatever you decide, I hope the party is a success.
