How about ten pin bowling or picnic in nice park with food, maybe cook a barbeque and then a game eg. soccer, touch football? Party in the back yard for kids is a good idea for keeping an eye on them - old games like pass the parcel, musical chairs treasure hunt etc (maybe the adults might like it too if they can find that fun).
