The only favors I have seen at a rehearsal dinner are for the bride's maids, groom's men and ushers!. Usually the bride and groom get them small tokens of appreciation for being in the wedding and often they say a little something about the people they chose!. As for favors for other guests, I have never been to a rehearsal dinner where other guests have received favors!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Usually the bride gets her bridesmaids a gift as a token of appreciation for all the hard work they have put in for the wedding (bridal shower, bachelorette party, paying to get their hair/make up done and buying the dress)!. It's a nice gesture to get them something!. I got pearls from my cousins wedding (which was a super nice gift)!. Whereas at another wedding the bride took us all out to lunch and bought us the earrings and bracelet that we wore for the wedding day!. I assume the groom should get his groomsmen a token of appreciation as well!.
As for actual party favors those can be left for the wedding only (usually it's like M&M's with Bride and Groom's Name, candy covered almonds, chocolates, or something else small and of that nature)Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, you don't give "party favors" at a rehearsal dinner!. It's customary for the bride & groom to give a memento gift to the wedding party though (earrings, charm bracelet, etc!. for the women) - and it's always nice to give each set of parents a nice gift!. One of my daughters gave us an engraved crystal candy dish, with their names & the date on it!. !.!.!. "Favors" also aren't necessarily given at the wedding dinner, although you could set out tulle bags of Jordan almonds or rice - or one truffle in a nice boxWww@FoodAQ@Com
Etiquette books suggest that there are no favors at the rehearsal itself but usually following the rehearsal is the rehearsal dinner!. Now at the dinner there are favors that are provided by the host of the dinner!.(usually the groom's parents) and these favors are usually simple "thank you for joining us in their celebration" gifts!. We called them out of town bags!. Coupons for the local restaurants, bottled water locally, hard candy and such for the trip!. GOOD LUCK!Www@FoodAQ@Com
