A BBQ will work for a 200 people wedding on a garden?
The party will be outside in a big garden , we want to give a salad first while the meat is on the grills. My fear is the number of grills we need so we dont have all people waiting...

Definitely hire a caterer to deal with this. You don't want to ruin your day with these kind of distractions, and a caterer is not that expensive, especially for a BBQ.

Instead of BBQ, have a spit BBQ. whole sheep and pork, what ever is your favorite. You have to hire the machines and the butcher can prepare what you need. Maybe also speak to a caterer, they normally do everything for you and you are left with all the stress!
either hire a caterer (best bet) or go to a party rental place and rent a large grill or 2; my cousin had just this type of reception and it was a great change from the traditional, but her father is a caterer........

Why have the grills going, put your meat in warmers, that way you'll know exactly when everything is ready.Good luck with the wedding........A buffet style wedding is great when it's in a garden.
