What should I do for my 20th birthday coming up this August?!

Question:

What should I do for my 20th birthday coming up this August?

I want to have one big party/get together with all different types of my friends, so no drinking, no girl beauty/spa things, and nothing too expensive. Any ideas? I was thinking about just having a big barbeque, but there's got to be something better or at least some interesting things that we could do at it...

I hate that nobody had anymore suggestions for us. lol. Here are a couple of my suggestions. What I usually like to do is one big thing that I can include all my friends in, and then a smaller thing. For example, last year, a bunch of us went up to a favorite lake for the day and had a blast, then the next day, I went on a mini-road trip with a handful of people. I live in Oregon and we drove to Seattle. Not far, but it still was very special.

Some things I'll throw your way because I've been thinking about them are:

-Day at the lake/beach with who ever wants to come, followed by a smaller evening party. Nothing fancy, but having a movie night and some games with snacks and yummy drinks (non alchoholic of course ;))

- Although it may sound really cheesy, I have a friend that does murder mystery parties every year for his birthday, and they're always a blast. It's a lot more fun than it sounds :)

- I've thought about a local theme park, but that seems a little expensive for my group, although it still looks like a great option for some other people. If you chose to do something like this, I suggest packing a picnic lunch. Everybody can bring a part of it and not only will you spend money, you can all chill out together.

As far as making a barbeque more fun, hmmm. This is where I get stuck, too. It's hard to make that distinction between what's too young for us now while still wanting FUN. Well, if you're interested, I have a huge list of games that I used to play with my big group of friends that always made parties a hit. Kissing Rugby (it's not quite like it sounds, I promise) for example is always fun.

This site has a lot of games if you're willing to look through and maybe get inspired.

One thing not to forget...it's your birthday. :) Do something that will make you happy and make your memories last. What's something that you love? Incoorporate that into your plans. I hope you have lots of fun. :)

you could just have a simple party with some of ur closest friends and have a bbq with talking and dancing and stuff

Throw a big party with different types of food and have a dj or a pool party or go for a trip instead like to las vegas and tell ur friends if they want to go
