Do you have suggestions on wording a funny invitation?!

Question:

Do you have suggestions on wording a funny invitation?

Let me try this again. 4 kids (5-16) going in an RV for 5 weeks with their parents out west. We are hosting an RV open house cookout so our friends can see see for themselves what we are in for. I am trying to come up with a funny poem or wording for the invitation. I am not very creative in this department!

Answers:
What if you spoofed the theme song to Gilligan's Island?

Just sit right back & you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip
That started from (your street or town name) aboard this tiny ship - I mean RV.
The mate was a mighty sailing man, The skipper brave & sure. (maybe you could use photos here)
(Eight?) passengers set sail that day for a (two week?) tour,
A (two week?) tour

You can modify the rest of the lyrics to include details of your trip (lyrics below). Include details about your open house/cookout in another section of the invite. Have fun! Bon voyage!

********

The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The Minnow would be lost,
The Minnow would be lost.

The ship's a-ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan,
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star

And the rest. (only in season 1)

The Professor and Mary Ann, (following seasons)

Here on Gilligan's Isle.

Use words like HotDoggin and you can try to incorpate your names in it!

Maybe something about sardines?
Call it a Pre-Road Trip Extravaganza?
Tell them to come see you while you're all still sane because by the end of your trip you'll all have probably gone loco?
