How much would my party cost?!

I'm having my birthday party at a fun center where they have bumper boats, miniature golf and etc!. I'm inviting 7 people and including me its 8 people!. IT says that for the deluxe birthday package it costs 15!.99 +tax!. Then I would think that the tax is around 2 dollars so it would be $18 for each person!. Then I would say the total is around $144 or more, but my mother is saying around $300 [I don't know how she got this number] Who is right and what do you think the cost would be!?
