Any suggestions on how to make a co-ed baby shower more enjoyable for guys?!

Question:

Any suggestions on how to make a co-ed baby shower more enjoyable for guys?

The co-ed shower will be held in a church.( clean fun, no alcohol)Need ideas for games, food and prizes that the guys will enjoy

Answers:
You could play the "dirty diaper" game with the melted candy bars, take care of a baby race (undress the baby, bathe, diaper & dress) you could make it more interesting by having them wear oven mitts.
If you don't know the gender of the baby you could do a sports theme for boy & a princess theme for the girl, maybe simular colors!
On the sports theme side have BBQ beef, chips, peanuts, popcorn & rootbeer floats (in a punch bowl)
For the princesss side have Quiche or cut out sandwiches, veggies, dip, fresh fruit on a skewer!
Have fun!!!

impossible. can't be done

Booze, Sports, and Strippers are the way to go...but since it not good for a church and not good for a baby shower...sorry, you can't make a baby shower fun for guys.

Cornhole( I think this is what it is called where you have to toss bean bags into a hole), Football,

food - nachos, party wieners in a barbecue sauce, wings

prizes - gift cards for places like tgif applebee's etc.

good luck with your baby shower

Guys love soccer, baseball, any sport, so you have to do your baby shower on a match day and gather them to watch it. On the invitation card, you put to bring something you want to the baby . you can visit http://www.babyshower101.com/ to see some ideas.

I hate to say it, but most men hate the idea of sitting and oohing and aahing over baby clothes-- chances are your husband doesn't even want to go. I'm not saying this is true for you either, just how some people I know have responded to coed baby showers; people may see it as just another way to get more gifts. Just be prepared for that. However, I hope you have a great time and you surprise them.

have the us open on

For the guys if you have lots of food, they will enjoy that.

No offense, but the only way to make a shower enjoyable for a guy is to let him stay at home. Honestly, I'm a chick and I hate going to those things. I feel for any man that has to go to one.

more co-eds.............

Co-ed baby shower!!!!! Now I have heard it all.....
First out, a shower is for the women. It's just more fun that way. Who wants a bunch of dudes there? The Shower thing is a traditional ritual so that they can Shower the mom-to-be with gifts and yes, advice. It's totally girly. You're not getting the full benefit if guys are present to interfere. We as guys don't Mean to be in the way but we are not hard wired for all the bonding that goes on. My advice is send the guys to a bar and you girls let lose and be girls. geeez!

Why would guys want to be there? My church does showers all the time but guys don't go. It's a women thing lets leave it that way.
