Here are some recipes that are cool for parties.

1.take a pound cake, slice it up and cut the slices in half.
2.slice up strawberries
3.put a little jam on the cake and a slice of strawberry and another cake with a little jam on top and then another slice of strawberry. Stack it up as far as you can go.
4. If the stack is too big then make it lie down and cover with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
5. Put two chocolate dipped strawberries on the side of the plate.
_____________-

Spiced Potato (I am assuming that you are using about 8 potatoes)

1. Take 1 large onion and chop it up (about 2 cm per piece)
2. Heat up a skillet/any type of pot you like and add the onions in some cooking oil
3. Cook for about 5 mints
4. Add pepper, and a can of salsa
5. Add about a cup of yogurt and a cup of boiling water
6. Cook for about 15 mints
7. Check if the potatoes are done
8. As soon as the potatoes are done add some chopped ginger, 1 chopped bell pepper, 2 large tomatoes and fresh cilantro. Cover the pot for about 10 mints to steam the pepper and tomatoes
9. ENJOY

K

make it of pirates or cowboys!!!

a burning of the golden calf party.
paint a bull pinata gold (with spray paint), fill it with firecrackers but don't tell anyone.

everyone dresses in togas, turbans, the like, and have a bonfire. toast marshmallows, hotdogs, little smokies, etc. dance around the golden calf. play marilyn mansom music. then pretend you are moses and throw the calf in the bonfire. its awesome!

have a leather and lace party

WOW. I am not a drinker but the idea for strawberry shots is amazing. It makes me want to run to the store and get some large strawberries right now. I would certainly include that in what ever party theme you choose. I don't see any reason why you couldn't omit the alcohol and use juice . Either way it sure sounds yummy to me.
