You can put anything in them. I like all your examples except for ham & cheese which doesn't stick together that well, but who cares!

Just what you said except you cut the crust off the bread and cut the sandwich in 4's. Or use those bake and serve dinner rolls. Now those make great finger sandwiches.

Cute little sandwiches that people make for parties or etc..... they're amazing! ha ha.......

Finger sandwiches are just sandwiches, just cut up into small 2-3 bite portions, you can fill them with whatever you want to.

They're cut into small slices, they're meant to be daintier.

Finger sandwiches are small sandwiches. Usually you make a sandwich and then cut it in 4. They also have dinner rolls that you can...they would be great if you make egg salad or any of those "salads". The reason they do this is so people don't eat a whole sandwich. My church has finger sandwiches after church is over. This way you put one of those small sandwiches on your plate and maybe a pickle and some carrots and celery. You don't need to eat a whole meal.

you can put anything you want onh them, just make a sandwich cut off the crust & cut into 4 pieces.tuna, egg,or chicken salas are all good ideas

chicken fingers!!!
it isnt real human fingers

hope that helps a bunches

Hey, I like your style. You already know that it's not fingers, cool.

Finger sandwiches are small bite sized sandwiches, without crust in most cases, but it doesn't have to be that way.

You can make a variety, PB&J, tuna salad, ham, watercress, hard boiled egg, ham salad, cheese. Anything that you can think of to make a sandwich for yourself, just make it smaller and display them on a platter for your guests. They'll love it.

they are little sandwiches that are jus big enuf to fit in your fingers... you can make any king of sandwich out of them that you want. They are convenient and soooo easy to make. after you've made the sandwich, cut off the edges and cut the sandwich diagonally twice... there u have it... little finger sandwiches!!

Finger sandwiches are just regular sandwiches cut really small- cut into eight.

In Britain we call hot dog buns finger rolls- so cut across and served as a regular sandwich this is also a type of finger sandwich sometimes seen in buffets.

They're nice if you cut off the crust from a slice of bread put butter and a filling on(any of those you mentioned are fine!) and then roll it(the piece of bread) up tight. It should be like a little tube then cut it into shorter tubes and put coctail sticks through them to make them easy to eat.
This is a good way to get children to eat sandwiches too because they look so interesting.
I hope this makes sense cos it's easier to show you!

I use cute cookie cutters on the bread, no crusts as everyone has mentioned. A favorite here is a cucumber cream cheese and light garlic sandwich, egg, chicken salad is good as well.

finger sandwich is a rectangle shape sandwich(2-3 x 8-10 cm) without crust. usually finger sandwiches are for quick and easy bite food. to make it posh, try it with smoked salmon with cream cheese, creamy chicken caesar, roasted pink thin beef with horseradish and rocket salad. try to put filling which is creamy, flat and not dry so it is not falling apart on serving dish or pick it up as it is very small piece of sandwich.

All I know is that finger sandwhiches are cut into small squares and the sidecrusts are cut off. It makes it fun and easier to eat. Mmm...yum yum...ok that's eat...I'm gonna go to the kitchen and make some for me, right now. Thanx for bringing it up. Lol.

small dainty sandwiches, usually with crust off and in cut out designs. cucumber sandwiches on small toasted rye with a dill sauce is an excellent example and so easy to make
