Here are a few ideas:

- think about you and your fiancees ethnic heritage and serve food that reflects that!.!.!. ie!. serve Mexican or Italian food,
- where was your first date!? or where he proposed!? what did you eat!? choose a menu that reflects this!.!.!.
- what is your favorite restaurant!? look up their menus for inspiration!.!.!.

To keep costs down and make life easier, try to choose one first course that everyone can have (salad or soup), offer two or three main course choices, and then dessert (or to save $$$ have cake for dessert - no one needs both anyway!)!. If you and your fiancee have sophisticated food tastes, try to make at least one main option something simpler, that most people would like!. Use the hors doevres selection as an opportunity to reflect your wilder tastes!.!.!.

Congrats!

Good luck and have fun!

The wedding planner at the hotel you're having it at will give you options!. Usually the guests get a choice of 2 or 3 items: beef or chicken, fish, and a vegetarian choice!. You should also be able to go there to sample the dishes before you decide!. If you don't have a wedding planner, and are having it somewhere outside your house, GET a wedding planner!.!.!.!.!.(and, if you live in the US, DON'T do an Indian food theme - unless you're of Indian heritage:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
