Favorite Halloween - When the kid were little and we lived in a small town. We use to decorate the home up weeks before. The night of Halloween I would prepare a big dinner for all the relatives who would come over ot join the kids who were going out trick or treating. It was a big party at my place for the adults while a few adults took the kids out for candy.
Lots of fun... Loads of memories.

I like those black and orange wrapped molasses candies, too! Also like Brach's assorted Halloween Mellocremes, especially the banana ones. Can you tell I have the just opened sack next to me, and took the name of the candy right off the bag? LOL.
We used to have apple cider and glazed donuts after trick or treat, do not know why that combination, but I liked the donuts!
I usually fix a pumpkin pie around Halloween, sounds good right now.
