Question:

How do you cut a 14 inch round cake?

Answers:
take a look at the chart at cakedot.com/cakecuttingchart.h...

with a knife?

in half, then cut the halves in half and so on til you get eight slices or cut each 1/4 into thirds

Cut it as you would any other size cake.

Cut it down the center then cut the opposite way on each side to make slices. This way is easier and creates a more even cut than trying to cut it like a pie. Hope this helps.

Picture a clock on the cake. Cut a line up from 6 to about 1/3 of the way in. Then cut a line from 4 over to the other cut. Then slice that section into slices. When you get close to the 6, you'll need to give a wider slice so they get some cake, and not just icing., Or strategically save those pieces for those who want extra icing. Then just continue cutting the cake in this manner, making a square-ish section, then slicing that into neat slices.
