The "Who am I" game is always a lot of fun and a really good icebreaker!.
Each guest gets a name tag worn on their back, with the name of a famous person, cartoon character, etc!. They may ask people yes or no questions to other guests to figure out who they are!.

How about a tropical themed party!. It is the end of the summer and we are all dreading winter so it might be perfect!. I have had many summer parties with this theme and they can be fun to prepare for!.
I go to Kinko's and get pre printed letter size invitations paper and envelopes with a tropical theme!. Then create my own words and print out!.
My last invitation read!.!.!.

And Coconut Bras If You Dare
You can find lots of great stuff at the Dollar Stores!. Even small bags of sand and shells!. I put these into a small metal pale and add fresh flowers and candles and they look great!. You can also buy plastic leis and other fun stuff there!. Do lots of streamers or some festive garland!. You can sometimes find great things at Pier 1!. It's the end of the season so things are on clearance!.
Get the blender out for tropical drinks and download some steel drum music or Jimmy Buffett!. It can be a fun relaxing evening!.
