Are these good ice cream sundae toppings?
Me and my cousin are organizing a family party this weekend for Eid since we are muslim. For dessert, we decided on having a "make your own sundae" bar. So far, we have these ice creams:
maple walnut
butterscotch ripple
chocolate chip cookie dough (with brownie pieces)
Chocolate
We don't have vanilla because it's been done many times and we wanted to be original.
For ice cream toppings, we have:
chocolate chips
white chocolate chips
colour sprinkles
chocolate syrup
reese's pieces candies
hershey's kissable candies
walnuts
Are these good ice cream flavours and toppings? If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share your ideas. =)
Answers:
crushed Oreo cookies (place in plastic zip lock and lightly hit w/ hammer); crushed Heath candy bar; chopped pecans; strawberry syrup; pineapple syrup; any candy bar pieces that you like (Andes Mint pieces are great on vanilla if you change your mind)

They sound good to me. But I like marshmellow "syrup" with my sunday. I always get hot fudge or chocolate with marshmellows stuff. Yummy!
Sounds very yummy to me! Maybe add some caramel syrup, marachino cherries and whiped cream.

sounds good... but what about either a butterscotch or caramel topping to go with the maple walnut and butterscotch ripple ice cream??? can i come too... you're ice cream bar sounds like something you don't want to miss! SMILE

caramel is a good topping and crushes oreo cookies, don't forget the whipped cream and cherries!
I just have 2 additions- go ahead and get the vanilla ice cream- much more versatile with ANY toppings.

Shredded coconut, toasted walnuts, marachino cherries & whipped cream....Great on chocolate falvoured ice cream...Like a german chocolate cake with cherries, yum!

What happened to whipped cream, cherries, hot fudge?
I would not have the chocolate or white chocolate chips or hershey's kissable candies (dont' like kissables)
but add:butterscotch topping, cherries, whipped cream (canned), caramel topping, hot fudge, m&m's, chopped peanuts, marshmallow fluff, oreo cookie crumbs, chopped up brownie bits
hell yeh ..and if u look like ne thing off ur avatar u seem really sweet too muah
sounds good, but i would reconsider the vanilla idea . . some people might not like the other choices and would prefer plain ice cream when adding lots of toppings . . . i would also add caramel topping and chopped nuts . . .
