What can i feed 30-40 people at a kids party?!

Question:

What can i feed 30-40 people at a kids party?

I have 12 kids coming and the rest are adults, i am having a Blue's Clue's Themed party as my kids are turning 1 and 2. This is my first time throwing a party for them so what can i feed to all these people?

Answers:
Blue Kool-Aid. Finger sandwhiches, use a puppy paw cookie cutter to make them the shape of a paw. Make or buy vanilla cupcakes with blue frosting, and stick a plastic paw toothpick on it. And use Blues Clues paw prints plates.

Spaghetti is very good to feed to crowds at a party. I just had a party for my daughter that turned 2, and we had hamburgers and hotdogs for her. Everyone loved it... have some different chips and all to go with it..

pizza is easy.............................
hot dogs hamburgers

kids need something they can hold onto..
not plates spoons ect.

remember its primarily for kids....

One of the things I have done is make individual pizzas - and the kids can help. Spread your favorite canned pizza sauce on 1/2 of an English Muffin. Have toppings available - cooked sausage or any type, shredded cheese, olives, mushrooms, sauteed onions, sauteed green peppers, etc. After the toppings have been added, sprinkle just enough cheese on each. Bake for about 10 minutes at 375. The kids love doing this, and it's great eating too.

pizza, lasagna something like that.

Pizza is easiest!
If it is a nice day you may want to consider grilling. If so i would suggest the usually favorites, Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Sausage, and have some macaroni salad or something to go with it.

hot dogs would be the best. People have to put on there own condiments, they can be filling and they are extremely easy and cheap to make. Plus, they are not that messy. Maybe some potato salad and chips for the side. You want to be able to enjoy the party too. Have fun!

Pizza is your friend.

Just about everybody likes it, the ones who don't eat meat can eat it*, it's not too expensive, it's insanely easy to find a 'caterer' for it, etc, etc.

Though the spaghetti idea isn't a bad one either. You might need a few stock pots to make that much at once, but they'd be easy enough to borrow from neighbours.

* But not vegans, the lactose-intolerant, etc, etc. Keep a bit of fruit or something handy.

Tony's Pizza Rolls and Chips

How about hot DOGS! (easy to eat for kids and fits with Blue's Clue doggie theme)

Some sort of baked pasta dish. I am in college and love to cook. My friend is the social chair for his frat and I just finished with catering a function for him that fed 75 people. Baked pasta dishes are a real crowd pleaser and are easy to cook for large numbers of people. In a glass baking dish (9"x13"in) pour an entire box of cooked pasta (bow tie is good for bakes dishes). Pour a large jar of your favorite sauce, (or make one from scratch if you feel so inclined) and cover with cheese. You can add any meat to the mix that you see fit, just make sure you cook it before you put it into the dish. Then just pop it in the oven until it is hot and the cheese has melted. Each pan should feed 8-10 adults. Also, per dish it'll cost you about six or seven dollars so you can spend the money you save on food on other aspects of the party. Hope all goes well.

PIZZA!!!

I would say sloppy Joes and chips It should go along way.Make cupcakes too.they go farther than a cake I have found out.Takes a little more time but you will know how many servings you have.So everyone will get dessert, also you can maybe find little Blues Clues treats to put on top.

Pizza and hot dogs work fine, but if you want to make the kids happy make PB and J sandwiches. It turns out really cute if you use cookie cutters to cut them into shapes!

Pizza. Order a bunch, seriously everyone loves pizza. For the kids you should have snacks, chips, cookies, maybe blues clues gummies and cake. Adults maybe some appetizers shrimp and cocktail sauce, bagel dip, etc.

Spaghetti! It's cheap to make, no choking hazards for the kids & you can make a ton! Have a good time.

Pizza is always the easiest.

dip pie salad

pizza . . or burgers and hot dogs . . also have chips, ice cream and cake . . .

angel hair pasta and tomate sauce and meat balls and garlic bread

Pizza and pizza plain large pies and blues clue ice cream cake

hot dogs, potato chips, chili [pickles etc....
crystal lite flavored ice tea [kids love it and better than koolaid]
