Non expensive 16th birthday?!

Question: Non expensive 16th birthday!?
im turning 16 in about two months and i need a little help!.
i dont want a huge sweet 16 birthday party and i want it to be in expensive (i mean of course im going to spend some cash)!. i had an idea a while back which was to bring ten friends plus me and my mom to a mall to shop for a few hours, then to have dinner at a nice american restaurant!. i was going to have my friends pay for whatever they want to buy at the mall, then i was going to pay for the whole dinner!. but then just last night i was thinking, and i just got my braces about 2 months ago and it was around 5,000 dollars!. my mom was also paying for my expensive class ring this year!. last night i felt bad that she was going to have to pay for all that plus the dinner and the cost of me going shopping!. i told her today that i didnt want her to spend all that money!. another bad thing was that i have a limit of 10 friends to invite, which is understandable, but it also means that some people i want to come cant because of my limit!.
so heres my point!.
i want a 16th party that is very simple, not too expensive, and something that everyone will love!. my birthday is on a saturday!. i was thinking a nice restaurant, but im not sure which one!. i live in westchester county, by white plains, new york!. im very open to new ideas, and i really want to have a nice party!.
please help! id love some ideas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i had a problem with finding sweet sixteen party ideas too!. one great idea is to go to a park a night with glow sticks!. that's really fun!. go bowling or ice skating!. a sleepover is always a safe bet!. or you could rent a limo (it's not that expensive, i've checked) and ride around your neighborhood!. another good idea is to theme your party!. that might help you come up with ideas!. for instance, at an '80s party, you could have '80s music (your parents could help with that), '80s costumes, watch an '80s movie, etc!. good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Or just have the makings for everyone to make their own pizzas at your house, make your own sundaes or decorate your own cupcakes is fun even for older people!. The have some games or a movie going!. If you have the extra money maybe you can all go see a movie and then come back for dinner!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about an ice skating party---perhaps at Bryant Park, were it is free (skate rental is $10)!. Then you could have dinner and birthday cake at the Snack Shop!. Once you're warmed up you could shop at nearby shops!. And depending on the day/night of your party, there may be free entertainment right there at the rink!.
