I have to bring treats to my son's end-of-the-year classroom party today. Ideas?!

Question:

I have to bring treats to my son's end-of-the-year classroom party today. Ideas?

I'm assuming most people will be bringing either cookies or cupcakes. I'm cool with those, but I'd rather bring something a little more unusual (but that kids will eat!!) If it's tasty AND healthy, that would be ideal, but it doesn't have to be "health food" (it's a special occasion, after all). Does anybody have a really good idea for me? Thanks!

Answers:
fruit saald in an ice cream cone

hmm try bringing fruits
or smoothies.

i can't remember the name of this, but i used to love it when we had oranges with chunks of pineapple and cheese pushed onto cocktail sticks, and pushed into oranges,to look like hegehogs.cute and tasty too!

You can make cupcakes in ice cream cones... or even maybe bring ice pops in a little cooler. I'm not sure how old he is, but you can take popsicle sticks and put all kinds of fruit on them for little skewers, maybe with marshmallows in between....

I am not sure how many are in your son's class, but, my neice and nephew love it when I get pudding cups (choc or van) and then take oreo cookie crumbs and sprinkle on top. Add some gummy worms and you have outdoor mudpies, that are safe to eat! really cute too!

You could also get them plain cookies and buy tubes of frosting and let the kids decorate their own cookie -- children love hands on activities!

What a great Mom you are to collect ideas! You ROCK!

Make this and then place servings in fun cups for everybody.

Pineapple Cream Cheese Fluff
? 1 8 oz package cream cheese, slightly softened
? 1 can crushed pineapple, do not drain
? 1 large package instant vanilla pudding
? 1 12 oz bin of CoolWhip

Place cream cheese in medium sized bowl and mush into chunks with fork. Mix in crushed pineapple - with the juice. Add the pudding and mix together and then fold in the CoolWhip. Pour into a serving bowl and refrigerate. May also add drained mandarin oranges.

Make baggies full of popcorn, peanuts and M & M's.

OR
Simulated Ice Cream cones. buy the cones with the flat bottom. a box of angel food cake... place cake mix in cones 2/3 full... bake until browned on the top. cool and dip in pink or any color of 7 min frosting...

Good Luck

Chocolate covered pretzels. Not health food but not terrible for you either.
