I hope u enjoy all these quick recipes and have a great party.

how old is your sister? whats the parties theme?
if its a childrens party

try spagetti, chicken, pizza and foods like that

These are usually a hit at any party:

1 pkg of Lil' smokies
1pkg of light brown sugar
1 pkg of bacon
Depending on how big your crowd is you can tweak this recipe, such as, using 2 pkgs of smokies and bacon, or less than that if there are less people.

What you do it cut up the bacon into little slices and wrap aroung the little smokies. Line them in a glass baking dish, if they overlap it's ok, the pour on the brown sugar until everything is covered. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F, for about 30 minutes. The brown sugar will melt and have a sauce-like consistency when they are done, and the bacon will shrink up some as well. You can serve them on a platter as is, or stick little toothpicks in them and serve as appetizers.

i would cook outside. maybe make chicken breasts for sandwiches and hamburgers / hot dogs for kids. you can always buy chips, potato salad , cole slaw from the deli. canned baked beans are nice in the summer . how easy is that. you can buy brownies / small cookies for deserts. if you have a large family you can always ask each person to make one dish or bring a dessert to help you out. have fun.

i just did my sisters surprise party what we served was different kinds of appys since it was night time. We had fresh mozzarella slice with tomatoes drizzled with balsamic vinegar, 3 different cheese's brie, wine cheese and jalapeno cheese served w/ crackers and pepperoni, Penni bread w/bruschetta, Paul Numans pineapple salsa w/multi grain chips, 2 different olives black and green. There were other foods but you get the idea. We serve lots of champange and micro beers if she under age get sparking grape jucie or anything like that.
p.s. I bought all my food from Uncle Giuseppe's and Trader Joes.
