I have 6 days left to throw a funeral, haven't started. Suggestions?!
I'm in charge of planning this "Celebration of Life" ceremony/party for like 100 people for a family member who died last month!. Between everything going wrong, mourning my family member, being broke, depressed, and already crazy to start with, time slipped away!. Now, the party tent people can't get the tent into my friend's back yard, most places are booked, I'm losing my mind, what do I do!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

What part of the country are you in!. In most places it's still nice enough to go to a park!. Either set up a tent there or see if they have a pavilion to use!. make it pot luck but supply drinks and stuff like paper plates cups etc!. have everyone bring pictures of the loved one and be prepared to share special memories!. also if you gather a bunch of pictures together your local photo shop can make a poster collage of their life, but they well need time to do it!. Call and see about cost and time needed, you can have it dry mounted to put on an easel and even leave a 3 to 4 inch white border for everyone to sign as a remembrance!. Don't rent the tent, buy colorful umbrellas!. If it rains then people can use them to hold off the water!. If it doesn't rain then people can use them to hold off the sun!.

Don't make yourself crazy!. find a park, get there at 5 a!.m!. and stake out an area with yellow tape!. Tell everyone to bring their own picnic and a story about the loved one!. And make the event about telling stories, not about feeding people!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would have it at a near by park where they have picnic tables!. Ask others to bring a dish of something!. That way it all won't be left for you to do!. Some can bring a dish, others can bring paper plates, napkins!.!.!.!.etc!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
