do a yellow pages lookup for any VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) places in your area, call them and ask about Hall rentals. They are usually pretty reasonable on the rent prices.
if there are any hotels around, you can rent their ballroom and have them cater for you! you can make it a dance party by hiring a dj. I know some do new years parties like that
