Ideas for New Years in Dallas?!

Question:

Ideas for New Years in Dallas?

Have a friend coming in from my hometown in CA and I don't want to bore her to death. Anything going on in Deep Elum? Looking for something age-appropriate for two people in their late 20's... the more off-the-wall, the better.
