Hi, I'm throwing a themed party ?!
The theme is Rocky Horror Picture Show/70s!. Does anyone have an idea of really good party decorations or things to do during the movie, costumes, where to find these decorations, etc!. Thanks for all ideas!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Guess you could base something on the old Sonic Transducer idea!.
Guests, either one at a time or one half of pairs/couples, get to be "stuck" in place on the floor (feet or wheels!.!.!. who cares LOL) then you or another guest has to dirty-dance/rub/caress/tickle them!. One who can last the longest without moving their feet or jumping out the way wins!. You can control just how risque it is to be based on you and your guests familiarity with each other and RHPS!.
Hey, you could even use a secret weapon of a hairdrier under the clothes as in Magenta/Columbia during Toucha Toucha ROTFLOL
You could really freak them out by pulling the tablecloth off during dinner to expose a chopped up Eddy effigy under the table!.Put on the record and act out the floor show!.You could have lots of people dress up like characters, you could watch the movie, you could do all the audience participation…
You could even make up Rocky Horror games and have Rocky Horror prizes! Like… I dunno… Rocky Horror limbo or Rocky Horror charades!.
You could pin the high-heels on the drag queen or bob for Rocky apples!.
You could even have a fashion show! Give out a prize for the best dressed Rocky-theme costume! For prizes, I know there is Rocky Horror clothing sold at places like Hot Topic and such!. You could also go with candy prizes and gift cards, etc!.
If you don’t want to go Rocky, you could still have a fashion show and bob for apples and pin the ears on the black cat or something like that!
Play 70's music, of course! If you don't have a large 70's collection, but you have XM Radio, they have good selection of classic 70's!.!.!. if you belong to AOL, you can access XM Radio for free!. To get an idea of 70's Music Take a peek at the screen shots of the 70's music list from my Ipod --->
For older groups, play 70's Trivia games and give away prizes:
Go online and grab quesions for free from the net or buy this DVD "Party Time Trivia"!.
For atmosphere, have a 70's movie playing the background, sound down: like Saturday Night Fever or Rocky, see 70's movies page here:)
The dance moves in the 70's were "anything goes" until the disco craze hit in the late 70's then we had dances like the Hustle, Night Fever Line Dance, Bus Stop, Four Corners, The Bump (my favorite) & more!!.!. If it's for a birthday party and you're going to bake a cake, you could always make a round cake with yellow icing and draw the "Smiley Face" in black icing!. The 70's were colorful, lots of different colored streamers and balloons!.!.!.
If you want to go crazy with the theme factor, have everyone dress up as a famous 70's character, it could be a character from TV or movies or a rock band: My choices!? Rockers KISS, Elvis, Sandy from Grease or Rizzo, John Travolta from SNF or from Grease, Farrah Fawcett as a Charlies Angel, Billy Jack, The Godfather, Rocky (The fighter) or Rocky from Rocky Horror Picture Show (one of my favorite cult movies), Annie Hall, Butch Cassidy, a Star Wars character, Jaws (lol) Bo Derek from 10 (if you want to wear a bathing suit to a party!) Go look at my movie lists and take your pick!.
Make home made "Pet Rocks" as party favors!. ;)

i think you should make a cranberrry lime fruit punch, and after thats make, add red food and blue food coloring until it as dark as you want it!. This will make everyone have a blood colored mouth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
