Who made the largest cheese in the world?!

Question:

Who made the largest cheese in the world?

This is for a school project....

Answers:
In 1988, Simon Specialty Cheese of Little Chute Wisc produced a 40,000 pound cheddar cheese.

Runner up appears to also come frm Wisc. the 15,723 KG (nearly 35,000 pounds) cheddar made by the Wisc Dairy Assoc for the 1964 World's Fair in New York. Couldn't find the name of the dairy that produced it.
