How many pizza's would we need to order for 9 people?!
I'm having a 21st surprise party for my boyfriend!. Though, its not too much of a surprise b/c he knows its comming!. He just doesnt know when or who is coming!.
It is going to be him and myself, 3 of his guy friends + their girlfriends, & my best friend who is also his friend!. Total of 9!.
I asked my boyfriend what kind of food he might want (a cold cut platter or pizza, or pickey foods!.!.) and he said he wants pizza!. So I'm going to order pizza and make a big salad (and have several dressing choices!.!.!.probably italian, french, and ranch)!.!.!.
Would 2 large pizza's be enough for 9 people!?!?!?
I'm also going to have chips and dip & a cheese & cracker platter out!.
And then for dessert I'll have home-made cupcakes!.

I would get at least 3, just because I rather there be extra than have hungry guests, or people not being able to eat as much as they would have liked!.

I would order 3 just to make sure!. left over pizza is still good for a couple of days!. I think its better to be safe than sorry!. You don't want people not to eat as much as they want b/c they are afraid there isn't enough to go around!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
for 9 people, 2 pizzas is going to be enough!. You have to assume 2 slices per person!. Thats 18 slices!. 8 slices per pizza and you need at least 3 pizzas!. That will give you 24 slices that are available!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
2 larges should be fine, especially since you're having other stuff!. You would figure a large has 12 pieces or so!? 24 divided by 9 is almost 3 pieces per person!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
